When reviewing the MRI scan, the neurologist or neurosurgeon see only a 2-dimensional image on a screen taken from the 3-dimensional MRI scan, and need to imagine the 3-dimensional organ in his mind's eye, based on his knowledge and studies of the body.
We attempted in this project to create a new visual tool that will enhance the tools that are already in wide use by doctors around the world today.

Our project presents a MRI brain scan as a 3D object in virtual reality using htc-vive.

Our project supports the following features:

Rotating, Cutting (Cut the brain along the three X, Y and Z axes), Zoom, Reset button and Masking – emphasize different parts of the brain according to the user choice:
The user can choose one of the two options representing the parts he wants – color it or remove the unwanted parts and see only the wanted one.
After using the presentation way, the user can choose the specific part in which he is interested.
